Can I work from home?
Working from home/ teleworking must be pre-approved by Program Management and only approved for essential positions that are vital to our mission. If approved, you would be required to provide proof of work performed as well as be able to support the hours charged. Be advised that any misrepresentation would be subject to DZSP 21 LLC timekeeping policies.

Trump / Congress has passed legislation giving people two weeks of paid sick leave as a result of CORVID-19. Will that include us? If it includes us, will DZSP 21 LLC pay back our PTO as a result of the new legislation?
Unfortunately, the legislation you referenced only applies to companies who employ less than 500 persons. However, as mentioned earlier in response to question #6, there is other legislation that the Navy may employ if they choose to. We are addressing that possibility with our Contracting Officer.

When would a doctor's note be required?
If you were out for any of the criteria listed in #9 or out sick for three (3) or more consecutive days, you will be required to provide a medical clearance that you can return to work with a return to work date. Clearance document should be signed/certified and follow your period of illness or quarantine. If you self-quarantined, it is advisable to schedule an appointment with your medical provider early in your quarantine period for the 15th day, to avoid added days of PTO/LWOP Voluntary self-quarantine requests are processed as a Leave Request (see Question #15) and will not require a doctor's note. It is the responsibility of the employee to notify their direct supervisor/ Annex Manager if your condition changes and you suspect that you have caught something or have been ordered by a medical professional to stay home for an extended period. Nonetheless, ensure to contact your immediate supervisor or Pandemic Coordinator if you have questions or concerns.
